The Kotohira Rakukgo Show will take place at Kanamaruza (the Japanese traditional opera house) on Sep. 27th. A spatial presentation that employs stage lighting to evoke scenes of Shinto shrines, Buddhist temples, and Japanese gardens all over Japan, as well as distinctive regional characteristics. On that stage, the show blends the Japanese traditional arts of Rakugo, Daikagura, and Wazuma (Japanese magic tricks), creating a distinctively Japanese type of entertainment that presents the very soul of Japan for audiences of all ages and nationalities to enjoy.
